Hohman Plating has a very stringent quality system in place and is an approved source for major aircraft engine manufacturers, automotive manufacturers and other large and small industry. The facility consists of 15 electroplating lines, an R&D laboratory, a Quality Assurance- Inspection laboratory, a Division of Environmental Safety with a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility and the Vacuum and Plasma Coatings Division. The facilities and general knowledge of coating techniques at Hohman Plating is very well developed and affords the opportunity to offer a large variety of surface treatment techniques. Active in Diverse Fields Hohman Plating is certified to ISO/TS 16949 and AS 9100B, as well as being accredited by the National Aerospace Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP). Hohman Plating's commitment to excellence extends beyond the area of engineered coatings and includes a commitment to safety, health, and the environment, as well. Hohman Plating has also expanded into many other fields and serves major markets in the automotive, medical, food handling, heating/air conditioning, laser, and printing industries. This growth has moved Hohman Plating into the top five percent of all metal finishers in the country in terms of physical plant size, number of employees, and sales. The Health/Safety and Waste Treatment departments keep Hohman Plating in compliance with all current OSHA safety regulations, as well as air and water discharge regulations.
