Adam Sokol, a Process Engineer at Hohman Plating, was honord by Products Finishing as a 2019 40-Under-40 honoree.

Sokol has been with Hohman Plating since receiving his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton in 2014. During his tenure, he has had engineering responsibility for the company’s zinc plating, phosphate coating and chemical strip operations. Sokol is responsible for process engineering in the aluminum anodizing department, and also oversees the company’s co-op program. His dedication and methodical approach to problem-solving have made him one of Hohman’s go-to technical resources. His skills, combined with his drive for continuous improvement, have allowed him to head up large-scale projects, including the addition of a new wet-processing area, installation of a boric-sulfuric acid anodizing line, and reorganization of the chemical strip department.
